looking for the stongest engine mount on the market. let me know your thoughts of which one is best

It's better to run a low strength engine mount, since it will fail under heavy impact, and (usually) prevent damage to your engine block.

I think the FLM is a smige taller than the stocker. Mine is anyway. Maybe its just mine. I like it, very strong mount. i run roll bars on my trucks (new era) so I'm not worried about cracking blocks.

If you don't have a good cage or roll bar then stick with stock.

I run my PRC110's which are far superior to the stock plate. I have also run the FLM plate and had no problems.

I tend to run stronger plates than the stocker because the stockers crack due to fatigue and vibration.

ya ive cracked to or three mounts to larsen. so far so good on the flm. you guys make a good point on keeping it as a weakness tho, good advice.

Are you talking about the engine mount or engine plate?

Good point which is it. I read it as plate but thats my dyslexia kickin in, LOL. If its the mount I run some of the stockers with no problems and run the FLM which works great but is a bit narrow for some mills like the Picco but can be slightly modified to fit.

Are you talking about the engine mount or engine plate?*

was a harmless e-nuff brake that sent my truck tumbling end over end that broke my mount. thanx for the advice on a weak point. i am not a fan of weak points but i guess they do serve a purpose.

Why not? If you're talking about a cheap injection molded Kingstar/Force/SH crankcase, it is only slightly stronger than the stock engine mount. If you use a stronger engine mount, you turn the engine into the weak point. What would you rather break, a $5 engine mount, or your engine's crankcase?
