Was running the one of my trucks around for the neighbors last nite and jumping a ramp over the fence and the thing just died ... so let it cool down for a bit and this is what I find ...

Unless there is other damage I cant see, get a new owb, put it back in and continue to impress the neighbors. Happy Bashing

i was gonna say the same thing, unless I'm missing something i don't see alot wrong with it...

I too am confused. Unless that broken OWB piece messed something up inside the engine, you should just be able to replace the OWB and the engine will still be alive. Maybe there is something wrong with the piston (It's in the picture, maybe we aren't looking close enough.)?

i just looked at the pic of the piston closer and if u look how its sitting on the table it looks like its split in half lengthwise "if thats even possible" or maybe i need more coffee...!!!! but the way its sitting it looks like half of it is gone!!!

Its a axial lol they kill there selfs when they hear a lrp or picco war cry . Yea the piston is in half ??? That even poassable

That engine looks like it has seen better days man .. look how black it is inside .. running a bit hot bro

The pics aren't the best ...but when the one way pin busted it was 3/4 throttle so it shaved the rod a few microns . So all that stuff went right up inside the motor.
It would be next to impossible to get the bearings cleaned out ... on top of the need for a piston/sleeve/rod set ... and of course the new OWB.

And I would put my axial 32 up against the picco's and lrp's all day long ... dollar for dollar I get more value outta my axial's and what I do with them than I ever would out of a Picco or LRP . And I do own both.

***** DISCLAIMER*****

I do expect to get a spirited response to that remark . :incoming:

Hey Jer ... you know that mill never got above 230-240 ...even running in a 2 mile long parade ....

hmmm....had the same thing happen about a gallon ago in the surefire .32r. looking at $20 for the owb and $20 for the con rod. was a waist becasue now the rear bearing went 💩
