WOT problems

My Savage has been running great until today when i changed the aluminum tuned pipe to a ribbed pipe from HPI. Its starts no problem half throttle is good. When i give it WOT it bogs down and does a funny noise, the noise is had to explain.

What should i do ? cornfused

The engine is k4.6.

Try riching up high speed needle?

Should i put all the needles back to factory settings? I went out to try it but my rotostart battery is dead so ill charge it up and let u know.

It sounded like a lean high speed needle, give it a 1/8 turn and try again see if there is a improvement.

Let it get hot before you make any further adjustments.

Change back to the tuned pipe, you will see no improvement at all running the ribbed.

Well its fixed kinda. The WOT problem is gone i just need some more tuning to get it running properly.

i agree with the above, even if it is running ok with the ribbed change to the tuned. its an all around better pipe for what you have. ribbed isn't a performance gainer.
