weak springs are more than likely the problem or sticking clutches do to weak or broke springs also you mite want to go with a vented clutch bell
 
you need to look at your mesh and your bearings. make sure the bell is shimmed good. with the bell on and the motor out of the truck when you spin it it should spin forever.
 
the motor revs super high with the 1.1mm so when the clutch engages it is a real shock to the drive train among other things. think of it this way, the heavier the springs the higher up the rpm to fight the weight to engage the shoes.
 
Also check your clutch bell to make sure the clutches aren't slipping inside and causing friction. Maybe it just needs a cleaning and sanding.
