i wanna put a new motor in my sav, ive seen a reasonably price hyper 7 tq
.28 but don't know if it will fit and how it will perform. Ive also seen the f4.6 for under £100. fancied a force 32 but have been put off, to much power.
i don't race i just bash with mates, they all run X 4.6's.
 
I'd go with the LRP Z.28, you can get it for under $170 and it's got great power, great tunability, and is reliable.
 
Iv'e actually had tarable luck with the RR and there customer service wouldn't help. I do have a Spec 1S on my other savy and it runs pretty strong and like oregonmud said there cheap.
 
$120, thats the one you want. if you bid on one sometimes you can get it cheaper, but not much.
 
I'm running the xtm 457!! i paid 160.00 for it and the power it has is insane!! the claimed hp it pumps out is 3.8 horsepower which is crazy lol!! so far its ran great with no problems flips my savage x over at will " even with the hpi wheelie bar" lmao, but as was said u cant go wrong with the lrp as its got plenty of power and reliabilty as well! the axial spec 1 is a reliable engine as well and even cheaper so i guess theres alot of choices out there!!

The XTM is a great motor. I have that one in my savy and its been running for over a year strong as anything. With that engine my truck would start to flip on its lid when I hit third gear with the shift pionts set right wide open on grass. I even went to the extreme as to slap a super charger on it and IT HAULS A$$!!!!!

I will recomend it to anyone.

The Axial RR is a good engine for the $. Now a AB Mods Picco P3 .28 is just off the chain!! :resp: :FarleyParty: <--- just had to use this smiley... halarious!
 
Thanks guys! Unless we're bought out, we'll be open for a while, and while we work on reducing our inventory we'll keep supporting the Savage until the bitter end!
 
What Are The Sts Range Of Motors Like? Seen Them In .28 And .30 Wonder If Anyones Running One.
 
ya theres a rew people running the sts engines here at the forum and i've heard only positive things about them!! apparently there pretty powerful engines and are pretty reliable as well but the people who are running them can give you a better idea of how good they are and I'm sure you'll be answered soon!!
 
I have an RB modded STS D30M and love it. If you have the cash I highly recommend it, they are $219.99 at SMF .
