Ok, so heres the deal i just got my savage a week ago first day i get to drive it i jump my driveway land on the back wheels and then the truck wont move it runs buy wouldnt move. So i brought in the house and started to tear it apart and find out it was the pinion gear from the driveshaft. I orderd 2 stock ones get them in the mail 2 days later, i installed and thought i was all ready to go so i start it up and IT WONT MOVE. so i tear it apart again everything looks fine. So i put it all back together i rolled it on the ground it rolled fine, made a clicking noise tho but i put it up and started it off the ground and all wheels spun so i set it on the ground and it seems like the rear pinion aint catching on the other drive gear. PLEASE HELP ME get up and running again.

honestly could be a number of things. Wheels spin while off the ground, and wont while set down means something fell out or just about broke. Also the clicking isnt good(sure you knew that tho). I don't know why you are hung up on the rear tho, savage is 4x4 so is the rear was gone you'd still have the front pulling you.
I would start in the tranny, make sure everything is there, and in one piece. Also its stupid but check you spur, make sure its tight and not stripped(which is hard to miss), if its a STEEL spur check your clutch bell to make sure you didnt strip that while landing.

Judicator pretty much said it all.
Open up the trans and see if any gears are stripped or about to be stripped or possibly broken. Depending on how hard the landing was it might actually be both diffs, To be sure double check every thing. Front diff, rear diff, trans, spur gear, pinion. Maybe even your clutch shoes. The impact could of tampered with a lot of things.

i tore into the tranny and the front diff and looked at spur and clutch bell tranny and front diff looks good nothin wrong with emm but i pulled out the grub screw for the rear driveshaft and rolled it around and there were no sounds or nothing just was smooth I'm thinkin I'm prolly just gunna order a whole rear diff with bp gears

if i do get the bp gears would i have to run the same gearing in both diffs and would it be smart to go to 29/9

I'm planning to just buy 2 built diff with 29/9 gearing. I'm wondering if they are the same thing like can front go in back and back diff case go in front
