I have never used that motor, but I prefer McCoy personally.

MC-59 for 20%

You'd be better off runnin a Mccoy MC-8. It's medium plug (heat range). The MC-59 is a cold plug. It can be used when runnin 20%, but only when the temps are cold outside, example, late fall getting close to winter. That's what I used to use when I was runnin 20%. Now I'm runnin 30% with a modded motor and I use the MC-9 which is a cold plug.

I think you mean hot plug, but your info is correct. I have never tried an 8, but I might now.

Thanks whip for correcting me. I know it's a hot plug. It's just that when I was typing up my post, I was already finished with it and was rereading to make sure I didn't forget anything, and I did. I forgot to mention about the MC-59, and in hurry lost track of what I was sayin. Opps.

yeah the mc-59 is a hot plug

I know. It's an oversite on my part. Tryin to rush and get the post up so I could eat dinner.

I only use hot plugs for running stupid rich on run-in and what not. Med or cold after that.

ran 20% in my axial and if i remember correctly i used to run an o.s. 8 which i think is a medium. Seemed to work well and didn't have a problem with temps. Crash would probably know what works best, he deals a lot with axials.

OS #8 is a short plug and is not the best choice for the axial, it was designed for certain OS engines. The MC#8 would probably be your best bet.
