Hey guys just put 40 series tires on with bread lock rims i am running 15/52 right now any info will heil also will not wheely anymore:dunno: :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

just wanted to know what gear combo is goood don't understand that gear stuff ask me anything about cat diesel engines and i have no problem but don't get gears at all and i am still running the stock engine

What SJ ment by asking what kind of power you would like is do you want top end or low end power. Wheelies or more speed? Currently you are running 15 clutch and 52 spur, this translates to a 3.47 ratio which is more of a top end speed ratio. As the ratio gets smaller, say below 3 you get more wheelie or low end power. So in short if you want more wheelies get a setup with a lower ratio. Hope that helps.

W/a 15/52 you should be pulling mad wheelies.. NOT TOP END !!!!!
.You could probably run a 52/13 (if u wanted) and still not pull wheelies.. I know this b/c Iam running a set of lower profile tires w/ a 49/17 combo On a surefire .32. W/ stock tires instant wheelies. And w/ the other tires they just spin and won't pull a wheelie... thats on grass pavement whatever

try your other tires and you'll see what I am talking about..

Yep I can pull wheelies all day long with my STS 28 running the stock tires.....but then when I switched over to 40 series It still will pull a wheelie but not as easily.

thanks crash thats what i was looking for and thanks to everyone else for the help

My bad, I was backwards. I must not have been thinking right when I typed that.
