are the aluminium clutch shoes better than the stock ones for a high powered mill, any good recommendations would be grateful
 
I like the Dynamite max life shoes, DYNP5180. By far the best shoes I've tried, just put my second set on and I doubt I'll use any others in the future.
 
nice engine,plenty of power, i'm a bit new to the upgrated clutch side , what does each different size of clutch springs do

Heavier spring - later engagement, lighter spring - earlier engagement.

I think the general rule of thumb is lighter springs for loose surfaces, clutch engages at an earlier RPM giving greater traction off the line - less wheelspin and heavier springs for higher traction surfaces but I find 1.1 works well for me all round.
