Water proofing question

I second that, WD-40 is good for displacing water, not for waterproofing parts. I suggest using a balloon with a ziptie around the reciever and using some Plasti-dip to protect the servos. Plasti-dip can be found at most hardware stores like Ace(Rocky's).

I think so,if not in hardware stores look for a tool dealer like snap-on,s&k,maco something like that and they will have it or can get it.

Liquid electrical tape works well also, and is generally thinner than the plasti-dip and pretty much the same stuff. If you were set on the silicon instead of the lubricant use just silicon spray. Basically it's a tire dressing in an aerosol can.

I was wondering about the plastic dip. do you guys dip the whole servo? If so, how does that effect the fit into the radio box? .
