upgrading spider gears

I'm building a new sav x kit, should i upgrade the spider gears to hardened or leave in the stock? any links to buy them?

I have run my stock gears for quite a few gallons now and they still look like new. I have them shimmed in the HPI alloy diff cups and I change the grease out every gallon of fuel and they have not failed me one time.

Have you thought about or looked at Maximizer diff cups or FLM diff cups. Giving a few more choices to consider not to make thing more confusing as is having as much info as possible to make the best decision as possible.

Hpi offers a harden diff gears. I personally haven't tried them but I did order them for a build I'm doing now. I do have and run the Nova diff cups but I'm looking for another set. They will either be the Maximizer or FLM set to compare to the Novas.

Nova offer a 7075 alloy diff cup.

Addicted buys from FLM but Addicted description says 6061 alloy yet FLM says 7075 alloy diff cup. Is it 6061 or is it 7075?

Last but least is Maximizer Beadlock - Maximizer Beadlock

They offer a 7075 alloy and look real beefy. I like these. They look beefier than the Novas around the edges.

Last but least is the cost:

FLM - $18 ea.

Nova - $15 ea.

Maximizer - $ 35 pr.

I appreciate the information, that is somthing to consider. I see many people on here using flm and nova products they are great but I might jus go ahead and buy the maximizer cups and give some feedback on them after my build. but my question was about the spider gears. should I just keep the stock spider gears or upgrade to the harder ofna gears? thanks

i know you did, i appreciate your input, I'm trying to get input from others as well. I'm building a kit from the ground up, i have the money to invest and i want to bullet proof this savvy

I built my race Savage from the ground up too. I didnt start with a kit. Its a great feeling to see something you put all together run around the track.
