Up grading savage 21

I have a savage 21 that I have owned brand new since 03 I have upgraded the engine to the axial .28 along with a 17bell and 47 spur gear and alloy diffs It almost instantly shifts into second gear when hard throttle is applied The set screw is turned all the way down on the 2 speed Does anyone know if the heavy duty 2 speed found in savage 25 and 4.6 will drop right in to the 21 tranny without any other upgrade

first off welcome to hpisf. if you check ebay nex x 2 speed trannys can be had for about 25 dollars. that would be the most cost effective way to go imo.
