Tweaked the steering a bit today

Hey all, i gots me a new dremel!!! a step down from the 400 i had but oh well.

anyways decided to play with the steering mod a bit since me trux in pieces. workin on riddin myself of purple. lol

one side done mostly comparison shots here.

after puttin it all back together i realized that in checking each trim, i missed one. at the bottom mount, is my current steering stop, i'll see once i get the truck back together and run the servo, whether or not i want to do any more whacking.

looks good...i did the steering mod that was posted on here, well i used it as a starting point. i took quite a bit off the first one and not so much on the second....boy does it make a difference on a stock savy with a locked rear..i was thinking about whacking off the universal ears but was unsure how it would effect the structial integrety of the part...

so keep us up dated on how this holds up...i might just break in my new dremel by cutting some stuff off...lol..

Great work. Looks nice, I also have removed the ears that aren't being used to shave as much weight on my racer truck as possible. I have had them this way for about 9 months with about 2 gallons of run time on them. This truck has never been used for racing but rather beat due to bashing and ramping. They have held up just fine with no signs or excess wear or breakage. They hold up well, matter of fact I have never busted anything in the suspension on the savage other than bending shocks and blowing them apart (Knock on wood).

man playin with the epa adjustments on my 3pm, they both sit at 70. i don't think i quite have it trimmed out where i want it yet. i did do the bottoms b4 fianl assembly, b4 fiddlin with the radio.

but, alas, no cutting today, i took a good chunk off my index finger at work today. gotta keep the bugger clean. and my tatt'n gloves won't fit over the bandaging.

next week i guess.
