ok so theres an abundant types of materials you can make tvps out there. from carbon fiber to aluminum. but has anyone thought of making tvps with delrin? the stuff that you can make roll cages out of.

nope guess not but is it flexable? if it is your asking for trouble ... frame flex with destroy drive lines differentials trans breaks motor plates ...i would think.. but idk what that marterial is exactly...

Low tensile strength and much more elastic than aluminum alloys/CF, not the material you want your TVPs to be made from.

My 1st material choice would be a good, artificially aged aluminum alloy such as 6061-T6. Fairly lightweight, strong, and impact resistant. Quasi-isotropic CF would be my 2nd choice. It is less dense and stronger than 6061-T6, but it is much more susceptible to impact damage.

Much of your Savage is made from Delrin as far as I know, things like a-arms, bulkheads, alright pretty much all the plastic on the savage and other R/C's.

Most of the Savage plastics are Nylon, not Delrin.
