Forgot to mention the rpm arms. I have a set on the revo and I like them a lot. The fit on the savy wasn't as nice. A little bit of sanding the arms to eliminate the binding and now they're good!

Ok.... Is everybody just laughing at me and not wanting to say anything? Look at the pics from yesterday and see what the noob did wrong. Cant beleive no one spotted it before me!!!!!!!!!

You have the TVPs on backwards, well techincally backwards, since the front is facing the wheelie bars.

However because of the way the Savage is designed, both ends can be fronts LOL

We have a winner!!! Wel at least I don't feel like a total moron, since I figured it out on my own. I was trying to set up my steering linkage, and I am :cussing: Finally hopped on here to take a look what was wrong and fiured it out!

Got a couple more things today and a little more progress. Starting to actually look like something!

TVP mounted steering servo.

TVP mounted T/B servo.

Now if I can just get my servo plate, I can finish this up finally. Got the tank and rx box just sitting and waiting.

also.. is your mess good? IF you find you don't have enough play in there change your motor mount screws to button head style to allow the motor mount to slide under the tvp..

But trucks looking REAL good man.. can't wait to go bashing rockout

jeff you may wanna sit the steering servo on those mounts to just ensure you don't bust the taps off the servo casing.

I think it will be to high if I put it on top. If my servo plate shows up anytime soon I'll know for sure. I believe tominator had his the same way. Once the servo plate shows up I might just end up mounting to the bottom of that anyway.

Cool.. trucks taking shape rockout

I got some forum stickers for you

Yea, think the mesh is good. But if I went bigger on either spur or c/b deff will need button heads.

Thanks man! Yea, I didn't think it would fit under the servo plate. Really wish I had it to know for sure. Like I said, I might mount it to the bottom of the servo plate once I get it. We'll see.

mounting it to the servo plate will work but just remember it will also contribute to raising your C.O.G. which the flm lcg plates were designed to lower 😛eace:

Yea, I'll keep that in mind. Not sure how I'm going to move it. Probably just going to keep it where it is. Its nice to have options though!

Looking good man!

Where did you order your FLM stuff from?

I ordered the tvps, servo plate, and drag link from RC Monster. Turns out they didn't have the servo plate or drag link in stock like they said. Still waiting on those to be shipped direct from FLM. Motor mount and skid came from YEI racing. And the servo mounts came from SoCal store. Shock towers I got from Hypnotiq. Getting hard to find FLM. After talking to FLM about my servo plate and drag link, they told me that pretty much everything is on at least 2 weeks backorder.

losi arm with a flat head screw. Fit mine bud.

On this one, you can see the cut marks on the horn, from the the cut that I needed to do to make the top set up work. All screws were ( and are still ) flush. Extra screw is not needed if you have the thickness of the screw (wide), in its female threaded part (deep), you are max holding power for that fastener. No point in long screws... but when not in the way who cares ... look at the servo mount screws. I just cut them about two months ago...

Yep, that hack linkage is still holding since I built this pig. "ant broke don't fix..." (to be honest I never got around to getting another linkage kit.)
