Traxxas link?

Good to know. But I have a failsafe on my savy and will always put one on my future trucks so that's not a problem either. Looks like I'm going with this setup.

the traxxas link looks good , and I know a few that use them , but for that price ,I would be looking at a bay or used DX3s .
and I don't know if it's just be , I don't like sporting a traxxas radio pushing a savage .

i don't see a led screen on that Tx which most other Tx's will have so you can use the features of the radio.

look around the forum, many guys use the futaba lj posted, the speky's, jr, or airtronics. all pretty similar in price and function and options, but get yourself something with an led screen at least.

A++. Plus after a quick read of the specs listed on towers site for that Traxxas Tx, I would definately tell you to pick another brand. 13ms frame rate and 4-17ms latency doesn't sound too precise to me. And it doesn't really state whether or not it has a fail safe built in. I'd say look on ebay for either a spektrum or futaba radio.

And also look at the programming flow chart for the traxxas link. Anything with an lcd screen will be much easier to program.

If you must get it, check the bay or someone who just bought a newer traxxas model and wants to dump the radio for cheap.

I'm with all the guys on this rtr rx/tx systems are as bottom of the barrel as you can get .... Just give it all a once over before you rush the sale.
