transmission not shifting

Hi,
i have a savage 25 with a 2 speed gearbox but since i fitted a k5.9 engine it just would shift i have tried adjusting but nothing helps.
so i what to set the gear box to factory settings and start from fresh with the more powerful engine in. so what are the factory settings?

Well since no one else has posted. I "think" its 3.5 turns out from closed. Hopefully someone else will chime in.
I did try and search but can't find any concrete answer other than lots of post that say 3.5-4 turns out. Good luck

many thanks for the quick reply, but before i mess around, which grub screw is it as there is the bottom one and then one just above.

that is for the savage x that i happened to have open at the time look at page 23 and it states. Tighten 1 1/2 turns from line A that would put it to factory settings.
