tranny washers

so i tore apart my stock 2 speed X transmission.
found i only had one of the washers thats between the two gears.
how important is that extra washer?

seems to be running fine otherwise.

I would say if it's on the parts list, then it's there for a reason. It might not be important right now, but it may shorten the life of certain components in the gear box.

I to tore mine down to clean and inspect trans. x-ss, stock 2 speed. I only have 1 shim to? I'm gonna try to post a pic out of the manual and hope it shows.

maybe its not a big deal then, i dunno.
