Tranny problems

I went to the track yesterday with my X4.6 rtr and after landing off the table top my savy came to a halt quick and wouldnt move. I can move the truck about a foot and then it locks up its not the diffs they both spin fine, the spur gear spins fine too, any ideas I going to pull the tranny out tonight to take a look any ideas would be a big help.

Look to see it the clutch bell is hitting on the brakes or spur (bent motor plate) then dig in the trans...

Also check for rocks inside the TVPs that might be wedged between a cup and a diff housing or backed out grub screws that could have caught on something.

got it all pulled apart nothing rubbing or bent that i saw and nothing in or around the drive cups, just got the tranny pulled apart looks fine all the teeth look good, both diffs seem fine spin with no problems but thats the next place I'm lookin. thanks for the ideas guys.

did you actually pull the mill off the plate to inspect?

diffs would be next to check.

yea i pulled it off, just got to the rear diff and found the bevel gear missing teeth so it was the rear diff, now its time to order some HD stuff. thanks all for there input
