I have stock Savage 25 rims and tires. I just upgraded the motor to a LRP Spec 3. Since installing it, the insane amount of power the LRP has stretches the tires almost to the max. The truck actually gets taller when going full speed like a drag racer. And they really get big when they leave a ramp.
So I plan on eventually getting new tires, but I like the aggressive look of the 25 tires better than the newer 4.6 Style (not the dirt bonz), or really most of the other tires out there.
How much stretching can they take, They are still good and glued and do not look damaged at all.
To me they seem softer than my friends 4.6 tires. Was never a problem with the stock motor because there was not enough power.
