Tire ripping

What do yall do when yall rip a tire. Do yall fix it? Or just get another one?

try belting them next time. but no i don't see any way to fix them

Ca glue works, I have seen guys remove a section out of the middle of a tire and then glue the two half's back together.

i have seen the mod where you cut the tire down the middle to make it not so wide.

And nitromite, when you say belt them, does that mean put the duct tape inside?

i use reenforced packing tape buy yes. stops them from balooning witch is why they rip usually. but try the ca glue i have not heard that one yet

+1 on the packing tape/duct tape - makes a big difference!

i had my stupid bulldog punchure a tire so i used CA glue and it worked awesome and hasn't opened back up since.

use this insted its like really belting your tire it has the strings in it that act as real belts duct tape can still streatch

Belt them you'll save your tires by doing it if your mill puts out any kind of power. Its almost a must. I can't post my links from my phone but look up my thReads I got pictures of torn tires and how to belt them. I'm pretty sure I made a how to belt tires thread a long time ago lol memorys so shot. I fixed a big rip in my stock X tires. I think mine snagged on a sharp rock when I was hill climbing.
I would have to say the repair is now the strongest part of the tire. LOL
