Well now that I have completely stunk up my kitchen like the tire factory I work in I would like to firm up the center of the tires. I got a used set of gt1 savage tires, these came off an original 21 truck. I would like to stiffen up the tires before I put them back on. I have heard of using strapping tape. Anyone got any suggestions?

I did the duct tape round around the tire, all thought I went around twice thinking twice would be better. Next time I would just go around once. This helped alot over not having one at all as the truck at high speeds drives much straighter and holds its line much straighter. Before the truck kind of wobbled at high speeds.

Does anyone have any experience with maximizer wheels. I couldn't the wheels to screw together. I think boiling them and excessive glue is causing interference problems. I was thinking of trying some soapy water to help everything slide around.

I have them and love em, I have never had a problem with assembly but ive always used new tires. You could try some soapy water which may ade in assembly if there is glue and so on in the way.
