throttle spring

does the throttle return spring affect the response and do i need it?

It might affect it a little with the weak stock servo. But if your gears strip in the servo or the linkage for the carb come un-hooked you will be wishing you had a spring. I wouldn't ever run without one personally.

use rubber bands...much better imo...ask Bankrupter about them...they allready saved one of his trucks.

I always use it. I had a scare the other day when it cam unhooked while driving. just the tension from the rubber boot is enough to open the throttle enough to make it difficult to stop

ya i wouldnt EVER run without one as the first time u do you will be kicking yourself in the butt when you smash it into a tree lol
