This is likely a dumb question, but here goes.

I have a 21 turned XL, and now when I attach my XL tires and rims, the wheel nut is VERY close to almost not catching the nylon threads on the lock nut - this has already caused me to lose a tire while bashing:

This is more of a pain than anything else, but when it does happen, i lose the nut, but I have been lucky enough not to lose the pin or hex...

I am using the Flux outer axles, are these the right ones to use? or are there axles with longer threaded sections that will make the nut catch and hold better?

I don't know about the shafts but you can put blue locktite on them before you put the nut on. But, that seems to only be a temporary fix.

Oh, of course - but I put them on and take them off too frequently - I would rather find a different shaft if possible...

you can compare them to my xl axles and if you like them better I will trade you straight up.

Bob what hubs are on the pins. If you have a Flux axle all should be fine. That's what I run and prefer over all the others.Id say your hub is holding out the rim to far.

j/k I have to agree with Bank, seems like the hex is too thick causing the rim to be pushed out.

Is it all of them or just one?

I actually put that in my sig yesterday because 1 lost the one wheel on Sat, then another one yesterday - seems to be that it is becoming a habit 🙂

Pic coming. I was also thinking it might be the thickness fo the hub on the rim as well. This rim has a metal disk in it where a normal plastic mount would go - I have never seen a rim like this - but my exposure it obviously very limited.
