Thinking of the Futaba 4PLS

As the title says I'm thinking about getting the 4PLS http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDGDR&P=ML mainly for the easy pay. Any comments good or bad is encouraged. Or if there is a better radio that is out there.

doesn't look to bad, I use the flysky f2 gt3c. only 50$, but it works. if ur looking for that high of price, I would go spektrum

Nice radio, but for the price I can think of better less costly options for sure..... just think money saved could go into hopup parts to make your rig tougher

Thats the one I use for my nitro trucks and i am really happy with it , if you plan on racing then maybe go for the futaba unit, if not this is a great radio for the money.....

I'm not to sure of the flysky, it just looks cheap(no offence). I'm thinking about down the road & using telemetry & such. I thought of the Spektrum DS4S, but like I said Tower has easy pay & I've used Futaba since the early square box radio.

well I thought the same thing until I got one and tried it out... I know all about futaba and airtronics too but this does all I need it to and works without fail every time....

@roger25118 pick up the Futuaba 4PL, you'll love it. I've been using my 4PL for years now and have never had a single problem with it.

I'd recommend picking up a LiFe battery for it as it will GREATLY increase the times between having to recharge it.

yea, that's what I like about the flysky. it has a LiPo. and no offensence takin, I just like the flysky. I guess I'm a cheapo🙂 u see this? it comes with telementary. http://www.amazon.com/FlySky-2-4G-R...&qid=1412107470&sr=8-16&keywords=flysky+radio it looks a little cheap, but with my experience, flysky's not a bad brand.
