Here s my work on my truck so far 🙂
I got it second hand and it was not in great shape at all ... Should have seen it before, wish i kept a pic of it before actually ...

I took it all apart, changed the mill and de anodized an old set of Ingety alu suspension ( Wasn t a Savy X so had to mod it slightly to fit in) . Lil work on the suspension to get rid of major scratches, sanded with 400, 800 , 1500, steel wool 00000 and then polished it lightly. I don t want to have it too bling or chrome like. I Didn t do the tank cap yet, might stay purple as a tribute to the fallen purple parts ...

The tank is an alu tank RD Logics, i need to rework the tank s mounting .
Waiting on Ofna linkage and a new clutch and pull start for the Mach 427 and it will be good to go.Now i need a set of better looking shocks in scale ish look, i like the 8 shox look. just not fond of black plastic.
Has a tronger servo but i d put an overkiller there soon ( if only my guitars would sell dammit ) and Steel spur gear !

I d post more as it goes.

Nice job there tone, never would of thought it was second hand if you didn't say something about it...

thanks all ! and thanks for all the help .
I took it all apart buffed alkl the scratches off, cleaned all the plastic parts, trimmed off all the lil ugly mold marks, shimmed the diff, cleaned all the bearings.
It was fun and a good way to learn the truck from inside out.
Maybe a mach exhaust dark gray or the HPI racing i have in silver.
I like SPI rims yep or Imex , something that stays along the realistic side of town . Now i think it s going to be good enough to display the bodies 🙂 !

here I de anodized the tank cap and installed the Dynamite Exhaust ( Ty Baddazs Savage for the great deal)
I had to mod the tank's mounting a lil bit to fit the RD Logics in with the bigger mill head.
It starting to come together tho. I like clean straight forward fuel lines set up and linkage.
Next step is the Ofna linkage i just got and need to instal and new shox ( just cuz i don t like the look of those )
Then a better servo and radio and all set.

Looks sweet tone! I need you to resize your pics if your going to use IMG codes. Way to big for the boards and bandwidth. I broke the links till you get them smaller... Thanks
