 Well I cant find the name of it but I'm sure that more people have the same problem. HPI part number 85234 the part that holds the bumper in place always seem to shift from side to side when attempting to make jump. ATTEMPTING!! lol Is there a upgrade for it? I was told to use zip ties to hold it in place. The thing with that it looks like crap. Cheers!!

Ahh- I used to use the old zip tie method until I had a big hit and broke the little screw that goes into it thur the bumper. What a pain to get out so if that hasn't happened to you yet this tip will be a bonus.Take a long drywall type screw to replace that stock one and after its nice and tight take off excess with a Dremmel.you will find it harder to twist because that type of screw will bite real good and squeeze the two together. It also makes bumper stronger for those "look out for that tree!" moments.Dave
P.S. Oregonmud told me about this so he gets the credit.

yes great idea, to whoever thought of it! lol thanks for sharing your tips as I'm sure theres a few people out there it will help!

well if you are talking about the x style bumper supports there is a way to keep em from spreading like that without the use of a ziptie........try useing a rubber o ring in place of the tie looks and works better than a ziptie..... and just a lil cheeper than gold
