Stering servo problems

Hello,
new member here. I've been lurking a while, just haven't posted.

Picked up a used savage x and just finished upgrading the linkage and steering servo to a Hitec HS-645MG. Got every thing back together and when I go to steer left it goes right and vice versa. I have my friends savage here to compare, just to make sure things went together right way, and everything looks good...

So here I am asking the experts, I just hope its an easy fix.

Hopefully your transmitter has a servo reversing function, most do. What kind of radio are you running?

Just what Judge said. you will need to reverse the servo action. There will be a switch on all the old Crystal radios or it will more than likely be in the settings on a digital radio.

Thanks for the quick response, it's the stock HPI radio. I'll take a look see after dinner and look for this switch you speak of.

Yup, that is what it was. I never noticed the two switches right near the back of the radio, thought for sure it was something on the the truck itself. Thanks again.
