so, I was putting an alloy servo horn on my savage, and noticed that there was a lot of play in the steering, so I replaced some worn parts, cleaned everything, and tightend it. my question is, what bearing can I get for the steering? I've heard x talk about them before. thanks

read for once??????!!!!!never mind, it's not worth it. I just wanted to see what x uses. what are ur thoughts on alloy steering?the entire setup

I agree that it is an easy thing to find, and that nut probably spent as much time asking as it would have taken for him to find the answer himself. That being said, It's a slippery slope to start giving someone a hard time because they ask a question that some may find obvious.

Nut, here is the bearing HPI recommends for replacement:

I prefer Boca Bearings, I think they have several versions of that size.

Honestly I don't see the point in wasting money on an alloy steering bell crank.

I like the alloy steering setup. Plus it comes with bearings. With a little creativity you can eliminate a lot of the steering slop, still beat the heck out of the truck, and not break the alloy steering components which are not really stressed very hard. Just my opinion even though you weren't asking me.
