Yesterday my truck was turning fine and everything. Well tonight i went to go turn my servo's and I noticed my truck was smoking so i quickly turned it off and pulled off battery box lid saw didn't see smoke coming out so i turned it back and and saw smoke was pouring out of my steering servo bad word. The servo was a Hitec ultra torque servo don't know if that's a good brand or not bought the truck used and it worked fine for 1 year and 1/2 how much do these cost? Servo still move's but wont stop moving and only goes one way and when you turn it opposite the way it is spinning it just slows it down

Ive always lived by "if you let the smoke out of it, you'll never get the smoke back in" when dealing with any electronics.
I've got a ultra torque titatium one, but haven't installed it yet. let us know how you make out with Hitec please.

happened to me once... send the servo to hitec they will replace it.

This would be nice but it say's that i need the box that it came in and something showing that it still has a warranty i bought the truck used =(. But I'm still gonna buy a new one so when i get it ill put it in the new one's box and ship it out to be fixed. Thanks for telling me!
