Steering servo clicks

Just got my savage ran 2 tanks in backyard and twards end of last tank steering got funny if you lift the front tires off the ground the steering clicks when turning wheels by hand it does not feel right if you use the remote the wheels turn but when you go to center they bounce back and forth then to center does this sound like a issue anyone has had before

I think the sf 2 servo must be bad when i replace that one with a hitec 645 should i do the bearing upgrade also and do you just take the front end of the truck loose from the chassis to install the bearings or is there a easier way

I put a hitec 645 in and did the steering bearing upgrade it worked awsome

yeah that sf2 isnt really a good servo for steering, the 645 is nice but will also wear out in time and use. I burned out 2 of them about 2 weeks ago, if you can sell out the $$ get a hitec digital servo, they cost about 100$ but it will be one of the best upgrades you can do for 100, +1 on the bearings.

yes my friend unfortunately the stock servo's tend to "twitch" alot and act up!!
