steering bellcrank issue?

Hey guys, about 3 tanks into my break in today I lost steering, it seems to me that my hitech 645mg is burned out or almost so. My question is this, with my bellcrank not connected to the servo and no wheels mounted my side to side movement on the bellcrank gets tighter as i get closer to full turn left and right, it does not flow freely and smoothly from side to side, seems like something is restricting it. I have bearings in the bell crank and an flm drag link, I also have the post support from irc with their hardware between the top of the bellcrank and the bottom of the tank plate. after careful inspection I cannot see anything causing a problem. I need to get this fixed so I can start tuning. any suggestions?
