i want to put a steel spur into my savage but i don't know which one to get. also wat gear ratio do u guys recomend.

depends on what ur wanting to do top speed or low end. don't forget to get the hardened clutch bell too

I recommend a savage 25 49 tooth plastic spur. DON"T DO METAL.

yea don't do metal unless ur really good at setting your gear mesh. but if you still wanna do steel then get the robinson set it comes with both the spur and the cb.

I have this set and I have to say I love it. Just the sheer size and build quility of it is high above any of the HPI stuff I've ran. The combo comes with a 48 tooth spur and 16 tooth clutch bell. This gives you a 3:1 ratio which is a great middle of the road high end and torque.
