For some reason my threaded post with the spring on it loosens up. i tightenit back to the 3mm and after a little while running it loosens back up and it wont stear

Put some loctite on the post and nut. this should keep it in place

I've only had mine back out once. Locktite is really the only way I can think to go, just make sure you have it where you want it first.

LoL, yeah that stinks man. I had that problem within 2 gallons of owning my X. I loctited the thing right where I wanted it, haven't had a problem since. Also, another good idea.. Do the Ball Bearing Steering Mod ! It's just above grand! It makes things SO smooth, and only costs 5-10 bucks!

ya i think I'm going to do that mod myself after hearing everyones experience with doing it!! if it makes that big of a difference to install 4 ball bearings its something you shouldnt do without in my opinion!!

I'm definatley going to do the Mod before winter hits ere in upstate NY. Winter comes around here quick. Question. Would you guys recommend running my truck in the winter? It gets between 0 to 30 degrees here for four months out of the year. I'm affraid of the plastic parts on my truck becoming brittle and snaping easy.
