Spur Gear Wobble On XL

I just finished tearing apart my XL and noticed something that may be a problem. As I spin the spur gear it wobbles pretty bad. Does anyone have this problem and does anyone know what is causing it?

Check the pads on the slipper clutch.

You will see this from time to time. Usually just loosening them and tightening them back up will solve the problem. Like FX stated check the pad when you take it off.

i think most of the time youll see it with any spur gear but also check the shaft the spur sits on as well ans to sometime it may wear out and become bent a but.

Also, this might be a stupid question but when I spin the spur gear should the tranny spin in both directions freely?

Check the nubs on the aluminum disc that mates up with the steel disc with holes in it. The nubs go in the holes and sometimes don't get lined up right.

Has anyone ever heard of shimming the tranny?

I will. I'm going to try and pick up some shims tomorrow and follow Baddasz_Savage vids and see what I can come up with.
