slipper clutch problem help please

eyy guys
i have been trying to get my dad's savage working 100%
i cant get this as after every 2-3 tanks the slipper clutch stufffs up
i have gone through about 5 spur gear pressure pads, no damage is happeening to the actual spur except for the little start shape that the pressure pad sits on

please help i want this problem to be fixed

Tighten it down. I run mine locked down tight on both trucks and rarely have a drive train problem due to no slipper.

i have it tight as much as it can go, i have also replaced the nut that holds it on, i also put loctight on aswell

Locktite will eat the nylon part of the nut making it not lock down. Try replacing the Lock nut and see if it works also make sure all the parts are there.

double check for that little washer...with out it you will run into major problems...kinda like you are describing...
