Slash Servo controlled on/off switch?

i have installed a secondary servo into my slash and have thought of different way to install a switch to control my driving lights but cant seem to actually do it? anyone done this?

look at the on off switch on a pro boat ThunderCat it has a hole through it so you can use a rod to push or pull it
 
couldnt find an actual image of the switch from the proboat but i came up with this today. thanks!



just need to make a pushrod now to get it to operate.
 
alright....finally!
talk about alot of messing around to get a switch to work. lol



now i need to figure out the wiring to get the L.E.D's to operate. Bahah
