Well Called HPI. They said ship it to them so they can look at it. I got pics of the pinion. You can see the damage. The pics are a lil blurry. I need to buy better cam equip lol. # teeth are missing from the pinion and the others are all twisted. 🙁
 
my batt's died in my transmitter and i didnt have no turning or brakes so i hot a train almost full force hit the train tracks lol
 
lol i bet, knock on wood never had to have that sight shown to me by my savvy, my heart would stop if it ever did cuase I'm on a shoe string budget as it is
 
Ty Allan. I mailed off the Roto Start 2 to HPI today. so hopefully i'll have it all working again soon. In the mean time I'll use my cordless drill set to low torque setting. Now just to find out if steering parts came in today at LHS.
 
hey guys, i finally got my savvy out. i have to adjust the tranny, and the idle ever so slightly, and it will be back in full force.

I'm a basher.. Always have been. I was recently in Columbus, Ohio with my family. I finally got the thing all broke in, running strong, just tuned it for that lame idea HPI had for a fuel tank. I was running around some dirt piles, and found this killer "double" with a stump on the launch side. Full throttle, wide open, almost there, caught a TWIG! I saw her jump, rode the back wheels for about 5 foot, lost my turn and BAM! I snapped both the upper and lower A-Arms completly off of the pins. I was P.O.d I will return, I will hit that double (which is about 10 feet wide) and I will clear it. I know my old RC10 could take that with ease.

I got her all back together, about 30 bucks later, and some adjusting with about 20 minutes of labor. I'll hit that jump, and make it next time.
 
lol i got back from bashing that was cut short when my steering servo decided it was gonna die, just after i got a new receiver, good ol murphy!!!

(for those of you who don't know ive decided to dub my truck murphy for murphys law what can go wrong will!!!)
 
lol ya i decide to name it that after it got tuned and about 20 mins later the receiver dies, then i got that fixed with a new 4 channel receiver and that put a 53 dollar divit my walet, then now the steering servo decides to croke
 
You bash that thing without a center skid plate? Brave man. Good job on the Innovative RC shock mount bracket. I have hiven mine some hits and it hasn't bent like that.
 
All I have is a quicktime movie, and it's about 300mb.... Next time, when I do have my family recording, I'll make sure they limit to maybe... 20-30 second shots.. HD video takes way to much space. The movie is 23 minutes long, so it's huge... And I am way to lazy to start splitting that file up right now 🙂

To be honest, I just have to little time. I'm juggling a full time job, college, and a family. So, I get a couple days a month to play around with the Savage. So, splitting up movies isn't a priority yet. I will however start having smaller movies/pictures so I can share them 🙂
