alright thanx for the advice. mt biggest problem through out the ordeal isn't gonna be money its gonna be replacing the diffs cuz i have no idea how to replace them

If money isn't the big issue and you don't have the easy access bulkheads go ahead and get those along with the new bumpers, shock towers, and stuff. Makes it nice! I just replaced the diffs on a friends truck and for close to $75 we converted it all over for him with the new diffs, bumpers, shock towers, skidplates, and stuff.....

or check out the CEN conversion (there is a thread in here somewhere that has step by step instructions)...they're about as bulletproof as you can get...

Well this tread is old, I don't have any pictures of the truck back together. But it is. I ended up going with double X tvp's rather than custom. It was cheaper and I like the look of the X tvp's too.

As some of you may have already seen on another forum. My son and I had our first day out again since the crash this posted talked about. We went to run with a friend, his son and their 2.5 tmax. I think pictures say 1000 words, so you can check it out. High rates speed, 9 year old driver showing off, and me not looking .. ended poorly. I ended up in the hospital.

Its not my truck its his. So I can't really not let drive it. It hit me with the front bumper. I got lucky and it missed the tendon. Pretty bad gash but it didn't hurt to bad and its healing quickly.

Well i got to the god forbidding race track and i

started leaking fuel everywhere!

Radio started chattering

Fuel tank kept falling off

pressure line kept falling off

eninge would not run at full potential when on ground(only in hand)

didint sound right

then my carb becomes loose again and then i find out that its stripped
and the little metal ring was cracked

then my air filter falls off and a whole bunch of sand goes in my engine and wrecks it

someone hit me and totalled my chassie(bent)

I'm screwed

I'm going to buy an axial .28 or larger engine....

wow...that's an UBER-amount of carnage...sorry to hear about your misfortune...

and now, I'm sure most will agree...let's see some pics? kinda like a bad accident you pass on the freeway...you can't help but want to look...

That is a whole lot of bad luck. Something you were doing had to be wrong. That much stuff doesn't just fall off for no reason.

2 motor mounts/threaded shock/ and a new racers edge head )8 tanks on it..
now has a nova head!~ also ordered another nova engine mount.

Jester, now that you want a copy of the ramp template, I can only imagine what kind of damage your gonna do when you get the ramp built. Definately can't wait for those updates.

Nice SJ, nice... Those are the only words I can put to use here.. That's almost beyond horrible to a wallet, that's for sure. My wallet sure did cringe after exploring this thread!

Was practice jumping the Savvy yesterday and landed wrong and thought I had finally broken something serious, but it was only a tie rod end on the rear that I popped off. :retarded:

LOL! I've done that so many times I couldn't count. That's why I switched to Traxxas ends. I've never had one pop out. Those rears are a pain in the butt!

I know, I know, flame flame flame.. traxxas this, traxxas that. Give'm credit, at least their rod ends don't break when driving towards the ramp! 😛

Yeah I think even though I landed on my wheels and drove back up the hill, I think that last cartwheel off the mound did it.
I yanked the front diff, (more like it practically fell out) to get a better view of the damage.
And besides the front dogbone that I lost when it happened (thanks Jester, for the replacement)
I snapped the lower arm brace, broke the right front bulkhead and split the front gearbox. Oh, and stripped out the front joint post.

Here you can see the lower arm brace and the split in the bulkhead.

Turn it over and here is where I discover the split gearbox.

I had a blast though, Thanks a bunch Jester.
