I was wanting to put a shaft start (roto start or equivilent) on my mad force, which has a ke25. Mainly because the pullstarts are a p.i.a. I can't seem to find one, any suggestions on something that would fit?

hmmm, that engine has kind of a weird mount. I would measure it and see if a rotostart backplate would work. I'm not sure.

what are the measurements of the backplate?( on the engine, screw hole to screw hole)

I looked on Sullivans site and they do not list a tiger drive for this :ercm: you may be able to adapt one from another :ercm: but I am having doubts if there is one available for this one...

I did find that on e bay but nothing saying much about it...

I would just leave the pullstart on it and deal with it from there as long as it is in good tune it outta be pretty easy to start up......

Went through a plug on breakin,no shocker there. I had some os3's, Itdoesnt like a hot plug much. It tunes, but after putting in a cooler plug there was a noticable increase in overall performance. It starts pretty, 2nd pull mostly, the third sometimes. Got it jumping off the line, nice trail of smoke throughout the powerband, and the old school spit test. I checked the temps for reference, got it around 235-240 steady, with a rise to 245in grass. Very good punch
