hey all I did do a search but can't find a definate answer... I was looking at the ofna mod, and noticed from some of the pics that the guy's are running without a servo saver... is this the ok thing to do?? I am haveing trouble with the brake linkage rubbing against radio box and until now have had a brain fart on what to do about it, ( now I know just get a longer servo horn.... ahhhhh sometimes I wonder about myself haha) oh and also does everyone run with the spring attach to the ball cup on the carb to the hsn?? I have seen some pics and I have not seen this spring on.... it make my servo buzz a little and no matter how I adjust radio it will not stop buzzing... the carb seems to close back up ok.....

Yes, most do not run a servo saver on the throttle/brake servo as its not needed.

Some will run the extra return spring and some will not. I personally always do as its added protection if there was a loss of all power.

ok

:jamout:thanx, I did try a search first as I hate starting new threads when it already there but my searches didn't bring up anything.....

this is why I love this site... ask questions and get the answers

+1 with larson. Servo savers are not needed if you have a after market TX with end points. I use elastic return springs too. Stock spring is too weak for my servo.

thinking weakness is not the issue with this spring...it puts tension on my servo and makes it buzz a little... I tried to adjust it with some trims but does not make it any better..... maybe if I do the ofna mod it might change somethings so I not super concerned yet

The stock slip ring servo saver flat out stinks. Makes for all sorts of issues when it gets weak. Some are weak out of the box. OFNA and smile... GL bud!
