servo going bad????

i have a problem my servo in my savage has been recently acting funny. it is fine when the wheels are off the ground but they weird thing is when i start to run it and when the wheels are on the ground. the servo seems to lock in the centered position and i have to wiggle the steering wheel around to get it to articulate the steering again. the thing is it locks and wont work in one direction, lik it will turn right but when i go to turn left it just centers itself. it only does it half the time. what could be the problem? stripped gears? or is it just giving up from being the original servo that came with it(original .21bb)?thanks alot for the help as i want ot know what it could be so if i need a new servo i can get one. thanks agian

best to strip the servo down and check out the gears, also chech the linkages don't bind anywhere.

ok the linkages are fine but ill check again and i will strip the servo down thanx hopefully that fixes it.

mine did the same thing and then it stripped the gears. i hope that you have better luck then i did with mine

my servo twitches so much....i stripped it and everything but everything looks fine.

is it over for the servo or what.....it twitches NON stop as soon as i plug it in the receiver...
