Savage XL nitro reverse module w/mixer -Problem, pls HELP

Hi,

Somehow I tried reprogramming my Savage XL with the HPI reverse module w/mixer using my Spektrum dx3s TX but its not working properly. Everytime I hit the throttle/forward, it somehow doing the reverse instead. I checked all my connections several times & everything is right. Any info would greatly appreciated.

Page 8 bud. But why use the mixer if you have a 3rd channel on the dx3s that will put you in reverse without the mixer

Judicator: yeah, tried that probably 20x and per HPI, I need to have the mixer to make it work. I wish I could do that by plugging it in directly to the AUX input. Tried that but it doesn't work either. I guess I just have to take it down to a LHS. Thanks though

hpi don't know what they are talking about. I don't own a dx3s but i own a dx3 with reverse and no mixer on my 3rd channel. you just have to set up the dx3s's 3rd channel should be in the manual

Take out the mixer and plug the servo directly into the AUX port on the receiver. You need to change the setting on the 3rd channel to linear I believe it is and it will work fine. I have the same radio on mine and it works fine.
