Hey guys I have a hump pack for my Savage, but wanted to know if there is a switch or something that also has an extra plug on it so i can hang it out the side to charge it so I don't have to pull the top off the hump pack area all the time?

Cheers

I can see you are going to cost me a fortune UpBasher! I like your style! I'm gunna grab one thank you!

Remember that the electronics cover has a location already to be used for the remote connector to charge the battery. It gets held in under that rubber cover. IF you still have all your parts, there should be a plastic U piece that screws to the cover to hold it.

for myself i always prefer to remove the battery from the box for charging... one advantage is I can monitor the temp and charge better, the second one is if it happens to burst it is outside my rig where I can do something about it without risking frying my truck in the process lol

Set your trickle charger at a low current charge, 1 or 2 amps. You should have no issues.

There is a chance that could happen I guess, but most the time I will be using a trickle charger and make sure I put the timer on it.

And I think I actually need that hump pack above as mentioned by UpBasher but I do also require the actual on off switch, I guess they took that from the roller when I bought it.
