ive heard almost everyone say to swap out the stock sav x clutch for the original sav 25 one I'm just wondering what problems people have been having with the savage x clutch setup or is the sav 25 one just more reliable?

25 slipper is better for more powerful motors, and just as you said it's more reliable. It slips when it needs to slip.

I thought the X slipper was a better idea. I've been using it with the K4.6 for a while now with no problems. Previously the only time I melted a spur gear was when using the S-25 slipper. I hope your wrong about the X clutch not being as good for bigger mills fx, cus I'm going to be fitting a Force .32 soon.

ya i was gonna throw in the xtm 457 engine in guess i will put the sav 25 clutch on and I'm gonna go with the 3 speed i think! I'm just wondering would the 3 speed suit the more powerful motors better as it would "level" out the power with the extra gear i would think, is this the case?
