i want to put new rims and tires that are beefier and of course want some nice wheels.....I'm looking for some tires that have really aggressive tread or somewhat where the tread looks like it is coming out of the side of the tire....................also, can i put the wheel extensions on there so it has a wider stance?????

Personally I use HPI DirtBonz. They have amazing bite in dirt and grass. I don't recommend street use but I still do from time to time. I slapped them on some black Axial dish rims. They are nothing fancy but they are light weight, aerodynamic, strong and come 6 to a pack for $20 on Tower. I have heard that the 1" extenders put way too much stress on the bearings and axles, but less extension should be OK. I would rather err on the side of caution and stay away from them because I am very abusive on my truck.

I agree with Dragin. The Axial extenders are tought on the C-Hubs and bearings and so on. You will loose strength by using them. If you want a wider stance the easiers way is to get offset wheels Like Maximizers or whatever you find. The sencond but more expensave option is to go with something like the FLM extended arm kit.

The Tires that K0m0d067 linked are very nice and give great traction on all surfaces. They tend to ballon easily so by putting a ring of duct tape around them you will eliminate this.

I run the Losi Zombie-Maxx tires with 1/2" Offset beadlock wheels from Maximizer and love the set they look good and offer some of the best traction on all surfaces.
