Savage X Body on XL Chassis

Hello

I have purchased a new x body then decided to convert to xl. Is there a way to make the body fit properly as I can only put it in one set of pre drilled holes?

Make new holes.
Use a pencil or a Sharpie to mark on the underside where the posts touch the body - like in picture 3.
I use a Dremel or a drill to position the guide hole and then a reamer to finish it out.
