Hi, can you confirm that HPI item 86171 is the spacers used to pack/shim out c/bell & that black spacer is metal & not plastic please?

It is metal but never use these parts, use an old bearing and washers.

Yes that’s agood shout using an old bearing, have been using shims & brass washer which are used on centre of spur gear I think, but noticed centre hole had worn oval shaped which never had that happen before! ??

I use the inner race for spacers a lot. Kind of why I tend to keep all my old worn out bearings. I just cut the outside race with a dremel and it usually will pop right off. Then I have a good 1mm thin shim/spacer that is 4-5mm wide depending on the bearing.
