safe/dangerous temps

i just bought a savage xs and a temp gun. I have no idea what the safe and dangerous operating temperatures of the motor are.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

I would think about 200 to 240 is a safe range, but outta the box I am sure the gearing is correct so as not to overheat the esc or motor, long as ya stay within the recommended gear ratio you will prolly be fine.
