Okay put the RSC on and was running it around the other day nothing major most air it saw was going off a speed bump maybe 2 feet. Any way I was pulling the motor last night and saw that it bent both shock shafts in the front 🙁 I have the HPI alum Threaded body shocks on it. Shame of it is I am out of shock shafts.

might have to step up your game to some big bores.

I'm thinking it might be more of a problem runnin a single stocker shock than the RSC.

cant handle the heat when you run it as a single shock? :dunno:

I know that it is the shock that is the issue. I am not blaming the rsc. Just a tad bit annoyed that I am out of shock shafts. Now I need to drop 90 bucks for BB's 20 for HF shock shafts and 20 for HF shock caps.

Called HPI to see if they might have these shock shafts sitting around that I could buy no such luck. 🙁

Alex, I will send you some of those on-road springs I used on mine...

Should get you fixed up if you can find some shafts. I might have some shafts or 2 shocks I can send you.

i know its not much cheaper but big bores could be got off tcs for 65 bucks. damn good price, plus if thats too much get them off a flux there on ebay all the time and just as good really.. lighter for your racer.

I found some stock shafts for now. Thanks savageman. Going to get big bores soon just got to make sure I buy extra parts I really don't like running anything without a full set of the same thing in back up. So I am looking at like 120 for big bores after alum caps extra shafts and bases. I might just keep what I have on the back and run the big bores up front.

pope the flux big bores or plastic ones are tough as nails i have been running them now for a while and they have seen big air with no problems. they use the same parts as the aluminum BB so the hellfire shafts will fit as well

Its not that. I have a bad habbit of buying something and than a day later have the chance to buy the samething for a much better price. Plus I don't want to buy them without being able to get the replacement parts. As of right now I can't find shafts for them. I will wait till I can do it right.

Just buy the BB's and worry about the caps and shafts later. You can shorten the ride height by using another rubber stopper inside the shock. That's what I did and they perform great.

As long as I can make it through the week without buying anything else I will buy them next week. 65 isn't to bad.
